UDHAMPUR, Dec 10: In keeping with the spirit of adventure and to spread awareness of Swachhta Pakhwada, a cycling expedition which was organised from Udhampur under the aegis of Udhampur based Sub Area. The expedition culminated yesterday after covering a distance of over 450 kilometres over six days traversing through border villages and remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh.
The participants spread awareness about Army in the border areas as also interacted with veterans spreading the message of Swachh Bharat and motivating the youth to join Army. The expedition was flagged in by Major General KJS Gill, General Officer Commanding, Udhampur Sub Area.
