JAMMU, Aug 20: Inter District Divisional Level Competitions of Jammu Division in the disciplines of Roll Ball, Carrom, Chess, Badminton, Rope Skipping and Squay Martial Art (Boys and Girls) U/AAG concluded today.
While the competitions of Carrom, Chess, Badminton, Rope Skipping and Squay Martial Art (Boys and Girls) U/AAG were organized at Indoor Complex of MA Stadium, Jammu, the tournament of Roll Ball was organized at DPS Rajbagh.
Result: In Badminton U-14 Boys final, Jammu district beat Udhampur by 2-0 set. Earlier, in 1st semi-final, Jammu district outplayed Kishtwar district by 2-0 set while in 2nd semi-final, Udhampur district defeated Poonch by 2-0 set. In Singles, Yashdeep beat Aryan by 21-14 and 21-05 whereas in Doubles, Yashdeep and Vidhan beat Aryan and Jasmeet by 21-05 and 21-09.
In Badminton U-17 Boys final, Udhampur defeated Poonch district by 2-0 set. Earlier, in 1st semi-final, Udhampur district beat Jammu by 2-0 set. In Singles, Naman beat Subhkrit while in Doubles, Naman and Saiyam defeated Subhkrit and Rahul. In 2nd semi-final, Poonch district trounced Kathua by 2-0 set. In Singles, Amanider beat Kaavish while in Doubles, Burhan and Amanider defeated Kaarish and Harish.
In Badminton U-19 Boys, Jammu district beat Udhampur by 2-1 set. In Singles, Raghav Dogra outplayed Harish Mahajan by 21-14 and 21-15 while in Doubles, Harish and Ritik of Udhampur defeated Raghav and Savinay of Jammu by 21-18, 16-21 and 21-18. In Reverse Single, Mohit Choudhary thrashed Adhiraj by 19-21, 21-07 and 21-18.
In Chess U-14 Boys final, Soham of Jammu beat Purav of Kathua while in Chess U-17 Boys final, Aakashdeep of Jammu defeated Koshal of Kathua. In Chess U-19 Boys final, Varinder of Jammu outplayed Kanav of Jammu.
In Rope Skipping U-14 Boys, Satvik of Jammu bagged 1st position in Speed 30 seconds, Kirtan of Jammu won in Endurance 30 minutes, Aditiya Sharma of Jammu got 1st position in Double 30 seconds and Akshit Digra of Jammu excelled in freestyle.
In Rope Skipping U-17 Boys, Manoj Kumar of Kathua won 1st position in Speed 30 seconds, Abhinav Sharma gained top position in Endurance 30 minutes, Saksham Mehta of Jammu bagged 1st position in Double 30 seconds and Sushant Verma of Jammu excelled in Free Style.
In Roll Ball U-11 Boys Tournament, Jammu district trounced Kathua by 7-2 and lifted the trophy. Rishav pegged 4 goals for Jammu dstrict.
