SRINAGAR, Nov 16: The 29th Srinagar District Billiards and Snooker Championship 2024 witnessed intense competition in the senior snooker category, with top players delivering stellar performances at the event.
International cuest Umer Ul Islam dominated his match against Nahid Khan, winning in straight frames with an impressive scoreline of 77-11, 87-0. Zahoor Khar showcased his skills by defeating Sadat Sheikh 55-26, 70-45.
In a thrilling match, Zuhaib Bashir rallied after an initial loss to overcome Adnan Khan with scores of 01-47, 59-38, 77-10. Similarly, Shuja Bhat displayed resilience in a close contest, defeating Azhar Shah 39-54, 69-57, 59-29. The day also saw Qamar u Zaman deliver a commanding performance, beating Umer Khan convincingly by 63-10, 51-29.
