REASI, Apr 27: Police helped a man to get back his lost suitcase, carrying important documents, check books and FD of Rs 50 thousands, etc.
The suitcase was found unclaimed under a culvert on the National Highway near Kalidhar temple, under the jurisdiction of Bhambla Police Post, last week. With the help of Bomb Disposal Squad, Police opened the suitcase in which important documents, like land ownership papers, sale deed, State subjects, check books etc and FD of Rs 50 thousands were found. On the basis of these documents, Police established that owner of the suitcase was Krishan Lal, son of Kunj Lal of Sangani Barui, Akhnoor, who had lost it a few days back.
The owner was called at the Police Post where Incharge PP Bhambla handed him over the recovered suitcase.
