JAMMU, Aug 8: A deputation of protesting All Jammu and Kashmir Unemployed Physical Education Trainees Association met District Development Commissioner Samba Mubarkh Singh and projected their problems, here today.
The deputation met under the chairmanship of Anurodh Sharma, president of Samba Unit of Association.
The expressed its rage over the Government Policy of engagement of physical teachers on contractual basis in educational institutes.
According to them this policy of engagement of the teachers is not in-favour the trainees and needed a change analogous to Rehbar-e-Khel pattern.
They also demanded filling of vacant posts of the physical education teachers in the Governmental schools immediately.
The DDC assured the deputation of conveying their message to the State Government immediately.
Prominent among others who were part of the deputation included Suresh Chander, Roshan Lal and Sarvan Lal.
