The unemployment problem in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir among educated youth is a matter of grave concern.In case it is not addressed at the earliest it may have serious socio-political consequences in the society.Despite having numerous posts vacant in different departments no recruitment is being made. Instead of this, competitive exams being held for recruitment purposes are either being postponed or are cancelled on one pretext or the other.This shoddy handling of recruitment affairs is quite condemnable.To tackle this situation the Government must take the matter seriously by conducting these exams well in time.
