JAMMU, May 14: The decomposed dead body of an unidentified man was recovered today from Tawi River in city outskirts.
According to a police official, the decomposed dead body of an unidentified man of age about 45 years was spotted by some locals at Tawi river bed in Phlian Mandal area this evening.
On getting information from locals, a police team from police post Phlian Mandal reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem.
“In this connection, inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated by the concerned police”, he added.
