JAMMU, Nov 18: The dead body of an unidentified man was recovered today under mysterious circumstances from an abandoned under-construction house at Bomal area falling under the jurisdiction of police station Akhnoor.
According to a police spokesperson, under mysterious the dead body of unknown Sikh male of age about 40-45 years was spotted this evening in an underground water tank in the premises of an under-construction house at Bomal area of Akhnoor by some locals, who informed the police.
On getting information, a police team from police station Akhnoor headed by SHO Akhnoor, Inspector Pushpinder Singh, immediately reached the spot, fished out the body from the tank and shifted it to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, for identification.
A case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station and investigations started. According to the police the under-construction house from where the body was found, belongs to Joginder Singh, son of Banko Singh of Bomal.
