JAMMU, Dec 31: The dead body of an unidentified man was recovered today from Gandhi Nagar area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, at about 7 this morning some passersby noticed the dead body of a man appeared to be a beggar along a road near Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar. They informed the police who reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification and post mortem.
A case in this regard has been registered at police station Gandhi Nagar, where police has started inquest proceedings under section 174CrPc.
