JAMMU, Apr 24: An unknown pedestrian was killed late last night after being hit by a Zen car near ITI College on Canal Road, Jammu.
According to Incharge, police post Talab Tillo, Sumit Sharma, an unidentified man was hit by a Zen car bearing registration No JK02P6660 late last night while crossing the road near ITI College on Canal Road, Jammu.
The seriously injured person was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for identification.
A case FIR No 60/2015 under Section 279/304A RPC has been registered at concerned police station. The accused driver of the Zen car identified as Sanjeev Gupta son of Subhash Gupta, a resident of Rehari Colony has been arrested and his vehicle seized.
