RAJOURI, July 2: In a unique move, DDC Member Doongi Khalid Chaudhary with the help of local BDC organized a bull race in Panchayat Darian of Block Doongi in district Rajouri today.
The people from different areas came with their bulls and participated in this unique Dangal in the region. This year also thousands of people were present in this Dangal.
DDC Chairman Naseem Liaquat said that this is a biggest bull race organised in the region. The aim of the program is that those who have moved away from farming could also connect with this profession.
On this occasion, senior leader of National Conference, Ex-Judge Muzaffar Khan was also present. In his message, he said that the number of people in this Dangal has increased since last year and we give credit to Khalid Chaudhry for his efforts. On this occasion, DDC member Rajouri Sain Abdul Rasheed, BDC chairperson, Rajouri Darbar Chaudhry, Assistant Director of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Jammu Sagir Chaudhry and a large number of public representatives of district were present.
BDC member Khalid Chaudhry awarded prizes to the owners of bulls who stood at Ist, second and third positions in this bull run competition and also gave prizes to the people who participated in the competition.
