LEH, July 17: United Karkit lifted Captain Saurabh Kalia T20 Cup by defeating Skarchan Lato at Captain Saurabh Kalia Cricket Stadium Kaksar, here today.
Mohammad Ali of Skarchan Latoo was adjudged as the man of the series for his outstanding performance.
The tournament was organised by Kargil Sentinels in association with community members of Kaksar to pay a tribute to Late Capt Saurabh Kalia with an aim to promote games and sports in the region.
A total of 34 teams participated in the tournament which was played on league cum knockout basis.
The final match of the tournament was witnessed by the Chief Guest Feroz Ahmed Khan, CEC, LAHDC Kargil and Brigadier Yudhvir Singh Sekhon, Commander Kargil Sentinels and other officials of military and civil departments.
