JAMMU, Aug 11: An unidentified accident victim today succumbed to his injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to Incharge, police post Parade, SI Rahul Mahajan, an unknown man was hit and injured by a Tavera Car on flyover near PCR lane Parade, Jammu on August 9. In the mishap the man suffered serious injuries following which he was rushed to GMCH, where he succumbed to his injuries late last night.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for identification and post mortem”, the officer said adding a case FIR No 136/2015 under Section 279/304-A has already been registered in this connection and further investigations started.
He said that according to a slip found from the pocket of the deceased, it has been established that his name was Gadhar Bahadur and he belonged to Nepal but his present address is still unknown.
