UDHAMPUR, Oct 4: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, Udhampur, hosted the Union Territory-level Inter-Division Handball Tournament at Mini Stadium. The event saw 95 athletes from Jammu and Kashmir divisions competing with great enthusiasm.
In the U-19 category, Jammu triumphed over Kashmir with a decisive score of 41-21, while in the U-14 category, Kashmir dominated Jammu with a commanding 22-2 victory. Top performers from these matches will be selected to represent Jammu & Kashmir at national-level competitions.
The tournament was attended by DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range, Rayees Mohammad Bhat, as the chief guest, who lauded the organizers for their dedication and commitment to youth sports. DYSSO Udhampur, Romesh Chander Mishra, along with other officials, ensured the smooth coordination of the event.
