UT level Ju-Jitsu C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Dec 30: Two days 7th UT level Ju-Jitsu Championship, organized by Ju-Jitsu Association of J&K, concluded at Indoor Complex Bhagwati Nagar, here today.
More than 400 players from different districts of J&K participated in the championship with great zeal and enthusiasm.
At the valedictory function, Deepak Handa-president Ju-Jitsu Association of J&K was the chief guest.
In his speech, he congratulated the Association for organizing the UT level championship and providing a platform to the youth for channelizing their energy towards sports. He appreciated the work being done by the Association in the field of Ju-Jitsu and the outstanding performance of the players.
He also gave his wishes to the medal winners for upcoming Nationals.
Prominent persons including Gul-e-Surkhab, vice president -JJAJK, Dr Navneet Gupta, treasurer, Dr Kunal Anand, Principal DPS Udhampur, Adv Kapil Mahajan, joint secretary, Sandeepan Dutta- vice president of the Association and Ritika Slathia Manager of Indoor Stadium Bhagwati Nagar were present during the event.
The championship was conducted under the supervision of Danish Sharma, technical director Ju-Jitsu Association J&K along with officials Harsh Vardhan Raina, Khalid Aziz, Muzaffar Ahmad, Farooq Ahmed, Rudrakshit Gupta and others.
