JAMMU, Sept 20: The six day long 11th UT level Shooting (men & women) Championship in small bore weapons commenced today at Aim 10 X Shooting Academy, Talab Tillo and Mission Olympics Shooting Academy Paloura simultaneously, here today.
The championship will culminate on September 25, wherein top shooters of J&K are taking part.
As per the press note, some of the events are also being conducted at Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur due to non availability of 25 metres and 50 metres Shooting Range in Jammu. The championship is being organized by J&K Rifle Association under the aegis of National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) and sponsored by J&K Sports Council.
The participation is open to competitors belonging to the J&K UT only. The competitions will be organised in sub youth, youth, junior, senior, master and senior master categories.
