JAMMU, May 16: Splendid inning of 77 runs by Uttam Thakur guides Doda Super Kings to register win over Youth Combine Bhaderwah in the ongoing All India 12th Gufran Memorial T20 Cricket Championship, being organized by Young Star Cricket Club Doda and sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion Doda at Sports Stadium Doda.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss, Doda Super Kings set a target of 177 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 18 overs. Uttam Thakur played a splendid inning of 77 runs, while Nadeem made 32 runs.
From Youth Combine Bhaderwah side, Adil Reshi bowled fine spell and took 3 wickets while Rouf Bashir and Touseef Malik shared 1 wicket each.
In reply, Youth Combine Bhaderwah team failed to chase the target and bundled out at 152 runs in 16.4 overs. Waseem Cruzee was the highest scorer with 32 runs while Tahir contributed 28 runs.
From Doda Super Kings side, Sunny Parihar and Mudassir shared 3 wickets each while Vinay Manhas took 2 wickets.
Uttam Thakur of Doda Super Kings was declared as Man of the Match for his best batting performance.
The match was officiated by Aayush Sharma and Bharat Jajuria as umpires while Rinku Bhaduria act as scorer. Ashok Sharma, Video Analyst acted as third umpire.
