This has reference to the article ‘Vanishing Gharana Wetland’ D.E June 01, 2017, There is urgent need to save the Gharana Wetland from encroachers. Govt should take serious note of vanishing Gharana Wetland. If the concerned authorities did not respond on the subject, the wetland will go out of reach of the Govt and will never be restored. The author has timely given a wake up call for the State Govt to save the wetland otherwise, it would be of no use to cry over spilt milk as filling of the wetland with mud etc by the encroachers will one day completely vanish the same and one will not see the migratory birds there any more.
