JAMMU, Dec 19: Vanshika Gusain of KC Public School excelled in the CBSE North Zone II Swimming competition, held at Om Prakash Bansal Modern School Gobindgarh, Punjab, recently.
About 25 CBSE affiliated schools from the Zone took part in the contest.
Vanshika Gosain of KCPS bagged one Gold and one Silver medals in the competition and was selected to represent North Zone II at the National level CBSE Swimming Meet 2022 scheduled to be held at Genius English Medium School Rajkot, Gujarat from January 21 to 24.
Vanshika won Gold in 50 meter breast stroke and Silver in 100 meter breast stroke. Other three swimmers from KCPS were Shaurya Sambyal, Laksh Kapoor and Mitali Raj.
Principal Amarendra Kumar Mishra congratulated Vanshika and her coach Babita Rani for making a mark in the championship.
