Vansh’s ton helps Jammu Sports to beat GCC

JAMMU, Nov 1: Consecutive ton by Vansh Khadyal helped Jammu Sports Juniors to defeat Game Changer Cricket Club by 31 runs in a 45 overs match of the ongoing Sher-e-Duggar Under-16 Cricket Cup being played at Khel Gaon Nagrota, here today.
Earlier, Jammu Sports won the toss and elected to bat first, sublime Vansh Khadyal (108 runs) hit consecutive ton to lead Jammu Sports to a challenging total of 234 runs in the stipulated 45 overs. Tohaid (66 runs) and Karanveer (42 runs) were the other main contributors for Jammu Sports.
In reply, Game Changer put up a decent fight but failed to chase the target and the whole team was bundled out on 203 runs, thus losing the match by 31 runs. For Game Changers Aryan Dasi scored 67 runs. For Jammu Sports, Vansh Khadyal took 4 wickets.
Later, Vansh Khadyal (108 runs & four wickets) was declared as Player of the Match for his brilliant performance with bat and ball in the match.
