Varsha, Nandani, Vishwa secure top three positions in Light Vocal Solo event

‘Rang Trang-Display Your Talent’

JAMMU, Sept 18: On the fourth day of ‘Rang Trang-Display Your Talent’, being organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu, the Light Vocal Solo event was conducted at Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
Prof Jasbir Singh Dean Students Welfare, Prof Yash Pal Sharma Chairman Campus Cultural Committee, Prof Anupama Vohra, Co-Chairperson Campus Cultural Committee, Dr BK Bajaj Associate Dean (SW), Dr Garima Gupta Assistant Dean (SW), members of Campus Cultural Committee, students and office bearers of the University of Jammu were present during the event.
In Light Vocal Solo, Varsha Jamwal and Nandani Kapoor from GCW Parade stood first and second respectively, while the third position was secured by Vishwa Gandharbh Kaswalia from the Department of Law, JU.
The Certificates of Merit were awarded to Sanchit Kaswalia from GDC RS Pura, Shubham Banerjee from IMFA and Pankaj Kumar from GDC Kathua.
Tejinder Singh Gill, Kuljit Singh and Jeevan Sharma were the judges and Dr Anju Thappa was the Teacher In-Charge for the event.
The event was coordinated by Mansi Mantoo Media Officer, Ifra Kak Cultural Officer and Sumeet Sharma Drama Instructor.
Vrinda, Vaishali, Alisha, Mehul, Anup, Kusum, Shrishti, Sahil, Meenakshi and Shahraza looked after the hall management. The sound was operated by Kulbhushan Thakur and Arif Paul.
Tomorrow, Western Group Song, Western Solo and Western Instrumental would be conducted from 10 am onwards at Brigadier Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu.
