JAMMU, Dec 29: Vice Chancellor of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Jammu (SKUAST-J), Prof JP Sharma flagged off teams of Badminton and Basketball for women to participate in North Zone Inter-University to be held at Chitkara University (Punjab) from December 30 to January 2, 2022.
The teams were flagged off from the University Campus, Chatha. Before leaving for the participation in the upcoming tournaments, the teams were also screened by the screening committee constituted by Dean Students Welfare (DSW) of the University.
Professor Sharma appreciated the enthusiasm put forth by the students for the tournament and conveyed his good wishes to the members of the teams, while the DSW complimented the Vice Chancellor for his whole hearted support to the SKUAST-Jammu team members.
Neeraj Gupta, Physical Instructor, team coach and team Manager as well as Nazir Hussain, OCC as helper will accompany the team for the forthcoming tournaments.
