SRINAGAR, Sept 10: Vice Chairman, Board for Development of Pahari Speaking People, Kuldeep Raj today called on Director General of Police (DGP), K. Rajendra Kumar at Police Headquarters (PHQ) and discussed various issues related to the Pahari community.
During the meeting, Vice Chairman requested the DGP to strengthen community policing and youth development initiatives in Pahari speaking areas. He also discussed the issue of drug abuse and requested the DGP for stern action against the peddlers involved in the menace. He also discussed the law and order situation in these areas and requested strengthening the police public relations so that better atmosphere prevails in the areas.
Mr. Rajendra heard the Vice Chairman and assured that the points raised would be addressed.
