VCC wins title in Ghordi Cricket Tournament

UDHAMPUR, Dec 30: Defeating Dalsar Cricket Club by 50 runs in the summit clash, Vivek Cricket Club (VCC) Ghordi won the title trophy in the Ghordi Cricket Tournament, here today.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, VCC set a target of 223 runs for Dalsar Cricket Club.
While chasing the target, Dalsar CC managed to score 173 runs, thus lost the match by 50 runs. Shishu Paul was adjudged man of the match for his brilliant knock of 67 runs, while Javed got the man of series award for his outstanding performance in the Tournament.
Earlier, the final match was inaugurated by president of Srimat Vivekananda Youth Forum (SVYF) Ghordi, Vishal Sharma, along with Zonal Sports Officer Ghordi Yash Paul , vice president SVYF Madan Mohan, general secretary and Radhey Sham, joint secretary, Rajesh Kumar.
The match was officiated by Physical Education Teacher GHSS Ghordi Yash Paul and Radhey Sham.
On the occasion, president Vishal Sharma requested the youth to attend Youth Convention on January 11, 2015.
