SRINAGAR, Sept 23: Dr. Tej Partap, Vice-Chancellor, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology -Kashmir, and Dr. Pradeep Kumar Sharma, Vice-Chancellor, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology-Jammu, called on Governor, N.N. Vohra, Chancellor of the Universities, here at the Raj Bhavan today.
Dr. Partap and Dr. Sharma briefed the Governor about the flood damage to the infrastructure of their respective Farm Universities and KVKs and the measures initiated so far to restore functioning. They also apprised the Governor about certain other pressing academic and administrative issues relating to their institutions.
The Governor urged the Vice-Chancellors to take time steps to ensure full restoration of all academic, extension and research work in the Universities and assured them the State Government’s full help and support.
Rakesh K. Gupta, Principal Secretary to the Governor was present on the occasion.
