RAJOURI, June 22: The police seized eight bovine animals during special naka in Mangota area of Thana Mandi Sub Division last night.
Official sources said that a police party from Thana Mandi Police Station, during naka at Mangota last night, intercepted a Tata Mobile vehicle No. JK-11/9329. While the driver managed to escape, the police seized the vehicle along with eight (8) bovine animals.
A case FIR No. 140/ 2021 was registered in this connection and manhunt for the driver smuggling bovine animals to Kashmir via Mughal Road was launched.
