Vehicles seized for illegal transportation of sand, silt

JAMMU, July 14: Two vehicles were seized for illegal transportation of sand and silt here today.
A police spokesperson said that a TaTa dumper was seized by a team of Police Post Rehari led by incharge Police Post Rehari Anil Thappa for illegally transporting silt without any valid permission/form-A.
Another vehicle, a tipper, was seized by the same team for transporting the sand illegally without proper number plates, documents, and valid permission/form-F, he said.
“The District Mineral Officer (DMO) Jammu would be informed accordingly,” said the police spokesperson.
