JAMMU, July 30: To show solidarity with Bhoomi Pujan and construction of Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh today sent Jal (holy water) and Rajj (Soil) from different temples and pilgrim places of J&K to Ayodhya.
VHP district units had collected holy soil & water and a grand Pujan was organized yesterday at VHP J&K headquarters at Shakti Ashram, Old Rehari Jammu in which all prominent saints of the region participated and showered their blessings for the cause.
Today a Jatha of senior VHP activists led by Vivekanand general secretary along with Navin Sudan Bajrangdal State convener, Raj Kumar Goushala Pramukh and Kartick Bajrangi Bajrangdal State co-convener left for Ayodhya after a ceremonial Vidaai from VHP J&K office.
State working president, Rajesh Gupta, vice president, Shakti Dutt Sharma, State general secretary, Abhishek Gupta & along with formally flagged off VHP team to Ayodhya and on this occasion conveyed that the soil and water from all religious places of J&K comprising of the wishes of all Ram Bhakts of J&K who are not able to reach Ayodhya to offer their prayers in person due to COVID pandemic and this team of VHP visiting the holy place will pray for welfare of whole J&K.
VHP leader Rajesh Bhasin and other activists of the organisation were also present on the occasion.
