VHP shocked over demise of Ashok Singhal

JAMMU, Nov 17: State VHP has expressed profound grief and shock over the demise of Ashok Singhal the senior leader of the organization who breathed his last today in a Hospital at Gurgaon Haryana where he was undergoing treatment.
The VHP State pattern, Dr Rama Kant Dubey while expressing his shock and grief over the demise of Mr Singhal said that his death is a great national loss and it has created a void which will not be filled for a long time to come. He termed Singhal a great patriot and a staunch Hindu who worked till his last breath for uniting the Hindus all over the globe to promote the values of humanism.
Dr Dubey also recalled his long association with Mr Singhal and said that he had a clear stand on J&K. The VHP leader never hesitated from speaking the truth which may even prove bitter for others, he added.
He said VHP leader was a guiding force for Hindu organizations and he had a great capacity in tying all the different organizations together.
VHP State president advocate Leela Karan Sharma also expressed his shock and grief over the demise of Mr Singhal and said that his demise was a great loss for the nation as well as Hindu community all over the globe.
Mr Sharma said though Mr Singhal is physically away from us but he will remain alive in the hearts of millions of Hindus all over the globe for his contributions to Hindu Samaj and nation till the existence of this world.
He also recalled Mr Singhal’s special love for J&K and said he was an inspiration for the younger generations of the Hindu community as he never compromised on the principles dear to him.
The VHP general secretary Shakti Dutt Sharma and other leaders of the organization and Bajrang Dal also expressed their shock and grief over the demise of Mr Singhal.
