Vibodh, Chairman MC take stock of development works

RAJOURI, June 15: BJP J&K general secretary and former MLC, Vibodh Gupta accompanied by Chairman Municipal Council, Rajouri, Mohd. Arif visited village Kapha Kha in Rajouri and took stock of various ongoing developmental works. During this visit he also inspected the ongoing work on construction and black topping of the road which links Chandan Chowk at Dani Dhar village with BGSBU University. During their visit the PMGSY officials informed them that this road is being constructed with an estimated cost of Rs. 4.5 crore and is almost near completion.
Later the locals of the area also complimented Vibodh Gupta for his efforts in ensuring that this particular road stretch is completed in a record time. Talking with them Vibodh congratulated them for this new road, which was their long pending demand. He said, will go a long way in addressing the genuine issues of the area and will move them towards the path of growth and development.
During this visit, Vibodh and Arif Jatt held an interaction with the labourers and contractor. They also distributed masks and hand sanitizers to all the labourers and drivers at the work site. During his interaction with the project workers, Vibodh said that under current circumstances all developmental works have to move forward by adopting all necessary precautions for COVID-19 prevention. He called upon these workers to keep working hard and take care of themselves also by downloading Aarogya Setu App in their mobiles and by regularly opting for Yoga exercises and traditional hot drinks. This he said is the only way to move forward in a safe and secure environment.
In his address the Chairman, Municipal Council, Rajouri, Mohd. Arif complimented MP Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Jugal Kishore and former MLC Vibodh Gupta and said that it is only because of regular visits to the area and regular follow up by former MLC, Vibodh Gupta that this long pending demand of locals of Kapha Kha has been fulfilled. He informed that earlier also many previous governments and leaders have committed to building this road but after winning elections they never took any follow up action.
Prominent among others who were present on the occasion included Sufi Zameer, Abdul Aziz Khan, Mohd. Tariq, Neeraj Chandan, Behari Lal, Girdari Lal, Vickey Sharma, Babu Khan, and all the staff members of the PMGSY including AEE, AE and JE. Work contractor Kiran Sharma also remained present at the site.
