PULWAMA, Dec 1: Victor Sports Club Pulwama is organizing 12th Pulwama District Hockey Championship 2013 for Mehjoor Memorial Cup 2013, under the aegis of Hockey J&K lead by NK Bhatra, sponsored by J&K State Sports Council at Sports Stadium Pulwama, here from today.
12 teams from different Clubs and Schools are participating in the championship.
In Senior Division, Victor Sports Club Pulwama defeated Ambali Club by 2 goals.
In Sub Junior Division, in first match Saadi Memorial Pulwama defeated Saadi Kids by 1 goal, while in second match played between Valen Teens School Ratnipora and Zikra Public School, Valen Teens Ratnipora defeated Zikra Public School Pulwama by 1 goal.
The Championship was inaugurated by Bashir Ahmad, manager Sports Stadium Pulwama.
