Vigilance Awareness Week concludes

JAMMU, Nov 3: Vigilance Awareness Week organized at Dulhasti Power Station, Pakal, Burser and Kiru Kwar Hydro Electric Projects of NHPC Limited at Kishtwar concluded.
The main function was held in Officers Club, which was presided over by General Manager Arvind Bhat. Besides, senior officers, members of ladies club, KV students and employees were also present. Two eminent personalities from Kishtwar AM Aziz and Prehlad Sharma, both retired headmasters of Education Department were special invitees.
On the occasion, KV students presented colourful cultural extravaganza. Different programmes like Essay competition, poem recitation, debates on “Eradication of Corruption” were held during the week.
The special invitees also addressed the gathering and threw light on preventive vigilance measures.
Speaking on the occasion, General Manager stressed for creating awareness among the masses to spread the message for fighting corruption, which is main hurdle in the development of country.
He shared his views on prevention of corruption and also stressed the need to improve the moral values of the individuals and also inculcation of ethical values in the society especially in the students and young generation.
Prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions.
At the end, Nishikant Mahajan, Project Vigilance Officer presented vote of thanks.
