SRINAGAR, Dec 30: Vigilance Organization Kashmir today produced challan against Patwari Halqa Arihal, who was caught red handed while demanding and accepting bribe.
Challan in case FIR number 06/2012 P/S VOK against Ab Hamid Sheergujri, then Patwari Halqa Arihal Pulwama, was produced before the Court of Additional Special Judge Anti-Corruption Pulwama, Haq Nawaz Zargar.
The accused Patwari was caught red handed on March 20, 2012 while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 1000 from the complainant namely Ghulam Mohi-u-din Wani of Shopian for issuance of revenue extract in his favour.
Next date of hearing of the case has been fixed for April 9, 2015.
