Senior Division Football League Tournament

JAMMU, Jan 3: Vijay Club and Shaheen Football Club outplayed rivals in their respective matches and entered into the next stage of the ongoing Senior Division Football League Tournament, being organized by District Football Association (DFA) Jammu under the aegis of J&K Football Association, here.
The first match of the day was played between Vijay Club and Young Rover, in which former registered win by 4-3 goals.
For Vijay Club, Shivam, Vikramjeet Singh, Dushyant and Manmohan netted the goals, whereas from Young Rovers side, Ujjwal, Abhimanyu and Rahul Sharma scored the goals.
In the second match, Shaheen Football Club defeated J&K Bank Academy by a solitary goal and sailed into the next stage of the tournament. Ashish of Shaheen Club was the lone goal scorer in the 65th minute of the match.
The matches were officiated by Ricky Kumar, Suresh Gupta, Dil Bahadur, Dheeraj Meenia, Vijay Kumar and Rahul Sharma.
In today’s matches, the guests were Sheikh Mehmood, District President DFA Jammu, Ramesh Chander, Vice President West JKFA, Faizh Sofi, President DFA Srinagar, Varinder Gupta, Charan Dass, Yousaf Don, Rajesh Kumar and Amardeep Singh.
