JAMMU, Apr 12: Chairperson, J&K Police Wives Welfare Association (PWWA), K. Vijaya Rajendra today congratulated the students of Police Public School Miran Sahib for their performance in annual examination of 8th Class. The result of the examination was declared by the Board of School Education recently.
Addressing the felicitating function, organised by the school management today, K. Vijaya Rajendra said that it was by dint of hard work by the students and dedication of the teaching staff that the children have brought laurels to the School.
Expressing satisfaction over the performance of the School, Mrs. Vijaya has emphasised upon the school administration and teaching staff to work in coordination with each other to perform better as there is always a room for improvement. She said that pass percentage and performance of the students has improved this year which is encouraging and requires more dedication.
In his welcome address the Principal of School, Sanjeev Pardhan, threw light on the dedication of teaching staff and the performance of students. He congratulated the teachers and lauded the outstanding efforts of the students.
On the occasion, Mrs. Vijaya encouraged and felicitated the shining students and distributed the cash rewards among the position holders. Saman Manzoor, who clinched IX Position in 8th Class was felicitated with cash prize of Rs 10,000, while as Vasu Sharma and Ankita Komal, who bagged X position in the said Class were honored with cash prize of Rs 7,500 each. Certificates of excellence and trophies were also presented to the position holders of the School.
The felicitating function was attended by DIG Jammu Range, Ashkoor Ahmed Wani, Deputy Director Prosecution, Jammu Range, Parshotam Sharma, PAWWA member, Esthar William, teachers and all members of school management.
