SAMBA, Oct 16: Vijaypur Police arrested six gamblers and recovered stake money of Rs 5720 along with playing cards from their possession.
As per reports a police Party of Vijapur Police Station headed by Inspector, Suraj Pathania, SHO Vijaypur under the supervision of Abhishek Sharma, SDPO Vijaypur raided in a locality at Vijaypur and nabbed six gamblers. They included Chetan Kumar, S/O Guru Karan, Aman Jamwal, S/O Dharam Dev, Jag Parshad, Ram Bachan, S/O Raja, Ram Mohan S/O Dhain Chand, Ramji S/O Ramlok. All are the residents of UP and presently putting up at Vijaypur. The police also recovered stake money of Rs 5720 and playing cards from their possession.
The raid was carried out on the directives of SSP Samba, Anil Magotra.
