SAMBA, May 24: Vijaypur zone clinched Under-14 girls Kho Kho and Kabaddi titles in the inter zone District Level competitions for girls under-14 and under-17 years, being organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Maharaja Suchet Singh Stadium, here. The competitions are being held under the supervision of Sunil Kumar, District Youth Services and Sports Officer Samba.
In Under-14 Kho-Kho final, Vijaypur zone defeated Purmandal zone by 7 points, while in Under-14 Kabaddi final, Vijaypur zone thrashed Samba zone by 11points.
In under-14 Volleyball final, and Ramgarh zone trounced Purmandal zone by 2-0 sets.
In Under-17 girls Kabaddi finals, Vijaypur zone got the better of Samba zone by 10 points, while in Under-17 girls Kho-Kho final, Samba zone defeated Ghagwal zone in a close contest by a margin of 2 points.
The Volleyball under-19 girls final match was played between the teams of Purmandal and Vijaypur zone, wherein latter defeated former by 2-0 sets.
