JAMMU, Aug 31: For his thumping victory over his rivals by a big margin of votes in the recently held elections for the post of joint secretary Judo Federation of India, Vikas Gupta, general secretary Jammu and Kashmir Judo Association was felicitated in a function organized by senior judokas at MA Stadium, here.
A big gathering of sportspersons was present during the function, who garlanded Vikas for his prestigious election as joint secretary of Judo Federation of India.
Prominent among others were RC Thakur, Varinder Dogra, Suraj Sharma, Bhanu Partap, Shiv Kumar, Rohit Kupta, Shashi Balgotra, Shweta Thakur, Vishal Singh and Sheetal Sharma.
Judo coaches Suraj Bhan Singh, Arshi Nad, Vikas Dogra, Ritika Salathia, Jugal Kishore and Rameshwar Singh were also present on the occasion, while the coaches of other disciplines present on the occasion Satpal Sharma, SP Singh, Manisha Gupta, Anil Wadhera and Gursharan Singh.
