Vikas upsets Yash,Indians impress

CHENNAI, Aug 28:
Vikas Mehra hogged the limelight  with an upset win over higher seeded Yash Bhargava of  Delhi 10-12 12-10 11-7 11-7, even as Indian boys and  girls lived up to the expectations and progressing to the  quarter finals of the 4th Indian Junior Open Squash  Championship here today.
Being down 10-12 in the first game, Vikas Mehra, a 9-to 16th seed displayed total control in his game and his decision to be aggressive most often throughout the match helped him down a fighting Yash Bhargava, who is seeded 5 to 8.  Notable highlight of the match was in the second game where despite enjoying slender lead, Yash came up with some winners but Vikas was more determined to wait for his chances.  Vikas’s exhibited great abilities in his court coverage to come out with flying colours.
