UDHAMPUR, Jan 20: A middle aged man died after he fell down from a tree in area of Bandhole, Latti, here today.
The deceased was identified as Shadi Lal (44), son of Santu Ram of village Bandhole Latti. He sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Primary Health Centre, Latti, by the family, where doctor declared him as brought dead. His body was later handed over to the family for last rites.
Meanwhile, a boy was injured when an escort vehicle of CRPF DIG hit him at Battal Balian. The injured, identified as Paras Verma, son of Gautham Singh of Seona, at present Battal Ballion, was rushed to District Hospital Udhampur. He has sustained a shoulder fracture and his condition was stated to be out of danger.
