POONCH, Apr 30: Sudden increase in the electricity voltage at village Laroka caused damage to electric appliances like fridge, TV, fans etc.
Aggrieved over the loss, the villagers protested seeking immediate visit of PDD officials to take stock of the situation.
Led by Panch Sanjeev Kumar, the protesting villagers blocked Lam -Jhanger road at Laroka and staged a dharna. They raised slogans against PDD and demanded adequate compensation.
