UDHAMPUR, May 30: Up in arms against no supply of electricity and drinking water in their villages for the last four days, locals of Battal Balian and Rathian held a strong protest demonstration, here today.

The protesting villagers also blocked the by-pas National Highway and raised slogans against the PHE and PDD authorities. They were demanding immediate restoration of power and water supply to their villages.
They lamented that despite no supply of water and power to their villages, the concerned authorities were not taking any action for restoration of the same.
