Villagers protest against R&B Deptt

BHADERWAH, Apr 3: The residents of Tensina village of Panchayat Soura in tehsil Bhalla held protest against R&B Department.
The people raised slogans against the concerned department and demanded immediate repair of the road and release of long pending compensation of land. They also blocked the Bhalla-Tensina road.
We are facing manifold problems due to dilapidated condition of road, non availability of medical facilities, worst condition of schools, shortage of ration and kerosene oil”, one of the protesting resident said.
The dilapidated road of Tensina area of tehsil Bhalla is creating problems for the commuters and the administration failed to meet their demands to get the road repaired, he said, adding that inhabitants and traders of Tensina area are aghast over the step-motherly treatment of R&B and PWD for failing to repair about 10 km main road from Bhalla to Tansina.
“The said road is in dilapidated condition since many years, due to which we are facing various difficulties”, he said, adding that during rainy season, the road condition gets worse.
The protesters appealed to the concerned departments and MLA to get the road repaired so that they may not suffer anymore on account of dilapidated condition of the road.
The protest held under the leadership of social activist Ashwan kumar Chandeil, while Mool Raj Manhas, Rajesh Kumar, Doulat Raj, Anil Kumar, Vinkal Thakur, Darshan, Manjal, Chaman Sunny and many others were present.
