Panaji, July 22: Vinod Phadke was elected today as president of the Goa Cricket Association (GCA) for three years, in the elections held at its office at Porovorim in north Goa.
Phade polled 96 votes, while his opponenet Shashsikant Sardesai got only two.
The 13 other members are Suraj Lotlikar, Sanjay Kanekar, Desh Kinlekar, Amresh Naik, Chetan Desai, Athul Naik, Surayakant Naik, Dr Shekhar Salkar,Akbar Mullha, Sudin Kamat, Dattaram Shetgaokar, Manohar Naik and Vilas Desai.
Prabjit Singh Sandhu was elected as the life member of GCA. (UNI)
