JAMMU, Aug 26: Rehbar-e-Taleem Sanskrit Teachers Association, Jammu and Kashmir, has unanimously elected Dr Vinod Kumar Shastri as its president.
Kuldeep Raj has been elected as vice-president, Dr Ram Parkash as general secretary, Pawan Kumar Sharma as secretary, Ravinder Sharma as joint secretary, Mukesh Sharma as press secretary, Mohan Lal Shastri as cashier, Kuldeep Raj as secretary and Rajender Sharma as organizer while Yoginder Kumar and Rattan Lal were elected for the post of chief advisor.
The Association urged the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister to introduce Sanskrit as compulsory subject in schools.
