Vinod Shastri re-elected as president of Sanskrit Teachers Association

JAMMU, June 1: Dr Vinod Kumar Shastri has been re-elected as president of  Sanskrit Teachers Association, Jammu and Kashmir, election of which was held today.
Dr Varchasvkam, Dr Bhushan Sharma and Tilak Raj Shastri were elected as chief advisors while Dr Parkash Sharma was elected as general secretary.
Atul Raina, Vikrant Sharma and Kuldeep Sharma were elected as vice-presidents; Rakesh Raina, Sanjay Sharma and Sunil Sharma as secretaries; Neeraj Sharma, Joginder Sharma, Ravinder Sharma and Dr Khemraj Sharma as joint secretaries; Mohan Lal Shastri as treasurer;  Pawan Shastri as press secretary; Kuldeep Shastri, Shiv Kumar Shastri, Hansraj Shastri, Joginder Shastri and  Ratan Lal Shastri as members of the State executive body.
After his election, Vinod Shastri appealed the State Government to introduce Sanskrit as compulsory subject at school level and filling up of  vacant posts of Sanskrit Teachers and Lecturers.
