JAMMU, Sept 12: Getting the better of Manik Sharma in the summit clash, Vipan Malhi emerged champion of Jammu District Junior Snooker Championship, organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here.
Malhi defeated Manik 3-0 by (62-21, 56-14, 52-07).
Meanwhile, in Senior Billiards Championship, Akshit Tandon prevailed over Kashif 2-0 by (100-94, 104-61); Ishan Choudhary defeated Ansh Chopra 2-1 by (101-65, 73-100, 101-82) and Ishuk Choudhary beat Avish Sharma 2-0 by (104-75, 101-87).
