JAMMU, Oct 23: Vipin Malhi will take on Arjun Singh in the final of the Junior Snooker Championship, being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Billiards and Snooker Association, at Billiards Hall, MA Stadium, here tomorrow.
Earlier in the first semis, Arjun Singh beat Rohit Chowdhary by 3-1, whereas in the second semifinal, Vipin Malhi registered win over Basit Wani by 3-2.
Meanwhile, eight cueists namely Krishna, Standin, Ragun Chowdhary, Aryan Katal, Danish Gupta, Samarth Amla, Ansh Chopra and Aman Chowdhary made it to next stage of the Junior Billiards Championship at the same venue.
In the first match, Krishna beat Adarsh Pandey by 2-0, whereas in the second match, Standin registered win over Aman Sharma by 2-1.
Ragun Chowdhary smashed Gagandeep Singh by 2-0 in the third game, whereas in the fourth game, Aryan Katal crushed Aasim by 2-1.
In the fifth game, Danish Gupta registered win over Akash Gupta by 2-1, whereas in the sixth game, Samarth Amla outplayed Furkan Wani by 2-0.
In the seventh match, Ansh Chopra outclassed Krishna Grover by 2-1 and in the eight game, Aman Chowdhary registered win over Manik Sharma by 2-1.
The matches were being held under strict supervision of the JKBSA members and played with the rules and regulations of Billiards and Snooker Federation of India (BSFI).
The matches were officiated by Rakesh Sharma, Pawan Khajuria and Ashok.
