Jammu District Badminton C’ship concludes

JAMMU, Nov 16: The 37th Jammu District Badminton Championship, organised by Jammu District and District Badminton Association concluded at Badminton Hall MA Stadium, here today.
On the occasion, Rajinder Sharma, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation was the chief guest, who gave away the prizes to the winners.
Among others present were Dr OD Sharma Vice President Badminton Association of India, Ashok Singh Divisional Sports Officer J&K Sports Council, Balbir Jamwal General Secretary Badminton Association of J&K, Subash Sharma, Vice President JCDBA, DV Sharma General Secretary JCDBA and Anil Gain Treasurer JCDBA.
A final match in Mixed Singles was played in front of Mayor. The title of Mixed Singles was lifted by Vipul Saini who defeated Nakul Vaid by 2-0 sets.
During the championship, the matches were conducted under the supervision of Rahul Sharma, Chief Referee with the help of Touseef Ahmad, Vikram Saini, Divum Gupta, Badminton Coaches, Sukhdev Singh, Pawanjit Singh, Vivek Mehta, Bharat Bhushan and Puran Chand.
