JAMMU, Jan 3: Vishal Mehra, a distinguished shooting coach from Jammu and Kashmir, has achieved an important milestone by being selected for the prestigious ISSF (International Shooting Sports Federation) ‘B’ Judges Course in Rifle & Pistol. The course will be held from January 13 to 17 at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in New Delhi. It is organized by the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) in collaboration with the Olympic Gold Quest (OGQ), under the ISSF’s guidance.
This selection highlights Vishal’s dedication and expertise in the field of shooting sports. He serves as a technical member of the Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association (JKRA) and a coach at the Mission Olympics Shooting Academy Jammu (MOSAJ). Vishal has also earned a certificate from the Sports Authority of India (SAI) recently. SS Sodhi, President of JKRA, Kuldeep Jamwal Chairman and DySP Sharat Chandar, CEO of JKRA lauded his commitment to advancing shooting sports in the region.
